We complete many of our installations using our patented Controlled Head Inversion Process (CHIP®) unit, a compact vessel which produces the hydraulic pressure needed to invert a resin-impregnated Insituform® tube into a deteriorated sewer pipe. The CHIP® unit enables installers to monitor and control inverting and curing pressures, helping ensure the Insituform® pipe is tight fitting. It also improves our ability to negotiate bends, difficult offsets and other irregularities in the host pipe. Our compact CHIP® unit makes scaffolding unnecessary, eliminating the safety risks associated with placing personnel as high as 30 feet (9 meters) above the ground. We can also work in congested areas or at job sites where overhead wires, trees or other structures make it difficult to construct overhead scaffolding. Cutting taps in thermoset resins is a demanding job which also requires the use of specialized equipment. We invented the Insituform® cutter and have improved its performance through the years. Installation crews carry sufficient back up equipment so that your job can be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
