Insituform CP™ (Composite Pipe)
Materials
& Structure Advantages The reduced wall thickness of Insituform CP™ allows a greater length of tube to be impregnated with resin, “wet out,” in a factory setting and transported to the jobsite. At the jobsite, the longer tube lengths reduce the number of inversions allowing projects to be executed more rapidly. For similar reasons this product also minimizes the use of on-site wet out requirements, which can make projects more cost-effective. When projects require setting up in congested traffic environments or within limited access easements, the opportunity to extend the installation limits to reduce project risk or interference can be better provided using the Insituform CP™ product. Insituform CP™ is an economical solution for medium-sized diameter gravity flow pipes. Insituform CP™ is installed using the inversion process.
